The Science Center in the Bremen district Horn-Lehe awaits you with eventful exhibitions and research that invites you to participate and marvel!

In Universum ® Bremen you can experience science up close - an experience for the whole family and the perfect destination for school classes. Through interactive exhibitions and models, visitors are encouraged to experience phenomena of man, nature and technology with all their senses.

The idea for this science center with experience character was born in 1996 by professors of the University of Bremen. On September 9, 2000, Universum Bremen celebrated its opening after only 1.5 years of construction. In 2007, the "silver whale" was extended by a further building and an outdoor area. In November 2014, the Science Center was completely rebuilt and reopened in March 2015. From now on, the three thematic areas of man, nature and technology are located in the adventure museum, which is brought closer to the visitors through interactive exhibitions.
