Schlachte promenade on the Weser

The Schlachte directly on the Weser in Bremen invites you not only in summer to a cool beer or a delicious cocktail with a view of the Weser. Also in winter a walk along the mile is a very nice experience. Every year at Christmas time the Schlachte-Zauber welcomes its visitors with mulled wine and food in a special medieval ambience.

The historical Weser promenade is located in Bremen's Old Town. Originally, Bremen's harbor square was there, which has now developed into a gastronomy and beer garden mile. The reconstruction of the Schlachte began at the beginning of the turn of the millennium under the project name "Stadt am Fluss". In total, the promenade extends to 1800 meters, where not only numerous cafés, bars and restaurants have settled. The Schlachte is also a landing point for Weser and port tours in Bremen.

The Schlachte is visited by about 2 million guests every year. Among them are not only tourists, but also Bremen citizens and guests from the surrounding area.
